The IMA has teamed up with the Queensland Film Festival to curate a selection of recent and rarely seen screen-based works connected to Queensland. From a diverse and exciting mix of practices and projects, we have put together an event in two acts.

The first act begins with a focus on the absurd and the abstract with short pieces by Sam Cranstoun, Aishla Manning, Amanda Wolf, and Paul Bai. The evening will conclude with haunting and paranoia-inducing videos by Leena Riethmuller & Callum Galletly, and Daniel McKewen.

The evening promises to be an eclectic combination of some of the most exciting new video art being made in or about Queensland.
