Mono is back, hungry for new sonic curiosities and evolving sound worlds. Join us for our first live performance of 2021 with Kusum Normoyle and Megan Alice Clune.
Kusum Normoyle works with voice for performance, video, and installation. She takes screaming, feedback, resonance, and intervention, and puts them to work in outdoor, gallery, experimental, and dance-music contexts. Her work and research is focused on the relation of body, voice, and acoustic feedback to audio amplification systems of scale.
She is joined by Sydney-based artist Megan Alice Clune, whose divergent acoustic undertakings consider the complex interplays of technology, the body, and temporality.
