“And I wonder to myself, what could possibly grow from such rot?”

Pseudo Press inhabits a weird space between bookbindery, publishing studio, and vanity project. The vanity is Lauria Joan, a bookmaker based in Berlin.
With a focus on the archival, the ancient, and the apocryphal, Pseudo Press has been alliterating sine 2020.

Pseudo|books are rectangular objects made of paper and bookcloth. They are tricky things; deceptively booklike. But pseudo|books are often empty (stationery), or— oh wait? hmm this looks like a regular book but it has no real plot and seems to be highly self-referential or completely obscure (editions).

What did you expect? It’s a pseudo press.
