For over fifty years, the Institute of Modern Art has been at the forefront of Queensland art. Each year we give emerging artists a Platform to ascend to the national stage. Our annual exhibition series propels artistic careers by commissioning their most ambitious works to date.
We are honoured to announce Platform has been recognised by Creative Australia’s Plus1 Matched Funding. This invaluable opportunity enables us to amplify the careers of four artists in 2027. Funds raised toward the program before 31 May 2026 will be matched by Creative Australia dollar-for-dollar, up to $50,000.
