IMA Friend

Annual donations of $250 or monthly donations of $21

IMA Friends assist with development opportunities for artists and arts professionals and the delivery of extensive public programs including targeted education initiatives for young people. IMA Friends are invited to exhibitions and special events throughout the year. In 2024, IMA Friends contribute to expanding our Education program, reaching more students than ever before.

IMA Trailblazers

Annual donations of $750 or monthly instalments of $62.50

IMA Trailblazers are a network of likeminded change makers who are passionate about the role of art in contemporary life. Together their united support enables Queensland artists to realise transformative new work each year. As a Trailblazer, you’ll be a part of an active and social network who are invited to exclusive events such as artist studio and private collections visits.

IMA Commissioner's Circle

Annual donations over $2,000, quarterly payments of $500, or monthly instalments of $167

IMA Commissioner’s Circle is a passionate group of philanthropic patrons who commission new works by leading Australian and international artists. Each year the Commissioner’s Circle enables artists to create some of their most ambitious artwork to date. In 2025, Commissioners will support new projects by Brisbane-based artists Joel Sherwood-Spring.

IMA Foundation

Annual donations over $4,000 or quarterly payments of $1,000 or monthly instalments of $334

IMA Foundation bring the best of the world to Brisbane and put IMA on the world stage. Champion Australia’s leading independent contemporary art gallery by becoming a Foundation donor today. This committed group of philanthropists support meaningful and transformative initiatives including education programs, community engagement activities, and major publications.
