This year, the IMA is celebrating its 40th birthday. Please join us for a celebration featuring Jocelyn’s Provisions cake, Madfish Wines, Newstead Brewery beer, cocktail slushies, and made-to-order Pizzantica.

Milkshake DJs will open and close the evening with the following Brisbane artists’ bands tag-teaming through the heart of the party: Brainbeau, ∑GG√E|n, Primitive Motion, Ross Manning and Scott Ferguson.

All IMA members and supporters enter for free, so please remember to bring your current IMA members’ card to make entry swift and easy. Not a member or need to renew?

The Institute of Modern Art acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land upon which the IMA now stands, the Jagera, Yuggera, Yugarapul, and Turrbal people. In the spirit of allyship, the IMA will continue to work with First Nations people to celebrate, support, and present their immense past, present, and future contribution to artistic practice and cultural expression.
