Join Wonseok Koh, Chief Curator and Head of Exhibition Division of Seoul Museum of Art, as he discusses past projects and highlights from throughout his career. Koh will speak specifically about curatorial projects with Korean artists, as well as his experiences working both within institutions and as a freelance writer and curator.

Koh has previously worked at Busan Museum of Art, Asia Culture Center, Arko Art Center, Gallery SPACE, and with Space Pool: a non-profit art organisation in Seoul initiated and founded collectively by artists, artists-curators, and art critics in 1999.

Koh’s visit is supported through the International Visiting Curators Program, developed and presented by Artspace in partnership with UNSW Art & Design.

  • Wonseok Koh

    Wonseok Koh has previously held roles within academia as a researcher at SOAS University of London, lecturer at the Korea University of Arts and Professor at Seoul Digital University. Koh was awarded the ‘Minister’s Award of Korea’ (2015), ‘Dong-A Curatorial Award’ (2009) and has participated in numerous international programs. He has been a jury member for numerous arts award.
