Event IMA Zine Fair

IMA Zine Fair

26 October 2024
10am—3pm

Old-school, cheap, individual, and easy to make, zines foster self expression, communication, and community. Visit our annual Zine Fair, discover a massive selection of independent, experimental, alternative publications, and meet artists, designers, and makers. Participants include Amelia McLeish, Bugdumb, Canal, Ella Senbruns, Grey Hand Press, Lawn Bowls, Paul Andrews, Platypus, and Ritual Press.

Please note. As current renovations at the Judith Wright Arts Centre have forced us to rationalise our storage areas and shed a truckload of books and magazines, including some great IMA publications, during the Fair, we are providing a rummage table of free books. We will even provide bags. First in, first served.

The Institute of Modern Art acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land upon which the IMA now stands, the Jagera, Yuggera, Yugarapul, and Turrbal people. We offer our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the first artists of this country. In the spirit of allyship, the IMA will continue to work with First Nations people to celebrate, support, and present their immense past, present, and future contribution to artistic practice and cultural expression.
