The IMA presents a digital road trip to celebrate the publication Yhonnie Scarce: Missile Park, which documents Scarce’s current survey exhibition. The artist is joined by two of the exhibition’s co-curators, Lisa Waup and IMA Director Liz Nowell. They discuss a series of images documenting their research trip to Woomera during the development of the exhibition.

The catalogue includes a pictorial essay by Yhonnie Scarce and texts by Waup, Nowell, Delany, Daniel Browning, Hannah Presley, Natalie Harkin, and Louis Anderson Mokak. The exhibition and publication have been produced in collaboration with ACCA and supported by the Gordon Darling Foundation.

The Institute of Modern Art acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land upon which the IMA now stands, the Jagera, Yuggera, Yugarapul, and Turrbal people. We offer our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the first artists of this country. In the spirit of allyship, the IMA will continue to work with First Nations people to celebrate, support, and present their immense past, present, and future contribution to artistic practice and cultural expression.
