Alana Wilson, II bowl
Olive bowl II (pictured left) is a refined collection of vessels that are functional art objects. Initially created as a boutique range of replicable forms and surfaces, II draws inspiration from the composure and movement of ballet, refined Japanese vessels and the serene monotony of the muted colour palette.
The pieces are slip-cast, hand-altered and brushed with glaze, resulting in slight variations of form and glazed surface with each vessel.
All vessels are made in Sydney, Australia by Alana Wilson @alanawilsonstudio.
