About Face (2020) is a limited edition artwork by Australian artist Archie Moore, developed as part of Making Art Work in response to the theme: unprecedented times. Find out more about the edition project at makingartwork.org

Archie Moore works across various media to share portrayals of self and of contested national histories. He questions key signifiers of identity—skin, language, smell, food, home, flags, politics, religion—as well as the borders of intercultural understanding and misunderstanding. Over the past two decades Moore has been included in major exhibitions including Defying Empire: 3rd National Indigenous Art Triennial, National Gallery of Australia, Canberra (2017); The National, Carriageworks, Sydney (2017); and the 20th Biennale of Sydney, Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney (2016).
